Garden veggie meals!
My basil and eggplant have finally come! So, in light of that, what a better way to celebrate than to make eggplant parmesan! My boyfriend’s dad gave me the family recipe and my boyfriend was able to add a few items to spice it up- needless to say, it was amazing! We added red peppers and topped a few servings with some giardiniera as well!\

Green tip for the month...
Try being vegetarian or, for you brave souls, vegan for one month! If you REALLY give it a shot and work to have good nutrition you’ll notice a huge difference in your energy, your attitude, your health, and even help the environment. Eating less meat is one of the greatest ways to go green! Even if you decide to go back to eating meat, you’ll maybe eat it less (and hopefully choose...
nabedell asked: I came across your post today because I've been having an itch to travel again myself. I got to spend 4 months in Rome and they were 4 of the best months of my life. In reading your post I couldn't help but reach out because, like your grandmother, my grandfather was born in Viareggio. It's a beautiful town if you haven't been before. Right on the beach and just a wonderful...

I have a dream...
Today I got into an argument with my mom about my dreams of travel. For as long as I can remember I have been planning a backpacking trip for after graduation. Knowing that there’s so much outside of home that I haven’t seen makes me feel unqualified to start my life. Nevertheless, the same questions are always asked. What will you do when you get back? Where will you live? How will...

Freedom, Creativity & Inspiration
When I’m looking for a little fashion inspiration I turn to a variety of sources… Recently I’ve been turning to the beautiful Zoe Kravitz. She has such a rocker, hippie, laid back style and such innovative outfits! From the endlessly adorable headbands, to the colorful and bold boots and flats and her grungy, relaxed, yet fashionable style-I hope she brings a little inspiration...
